Hey girl, my 3nd son is turning 7 soon and I am so excited to celebrate with him.
I have other kiddos too, his sister is 12, and his older brothers are 10 and 8. So, lots of birthday parties around here when you include all of their friends.
I have loads of great birthday party ideas below that are from his older brothers and am adding all the things my birthday boy is into as well.

- Are you good with kids being everywhere in your house and into everything they can find?
Because this will happen! Kids are curious and they get excited when they are in a new place.

Summer Birthday Party Ideas
To have a simple summer birthday party, you could have it at a park, set up or go to an obstacle course, or find a ninja warrior course. Boys have lots of energy and these are all great ways to burn it off.
I know there are indoor parks, obstacle courses, and ninja warrior courses to choose from too if the weather isn't ideal.
Having a water party of some kind during the summer for a birthday party is a great way to keep the kids entertained and cooled off.
If you keep it in your yard, the kids can run through a sprinkler, have a water balloon fight, or get nuts with water squirters. My kids have spent hours doing this with the neighborhood kids on hot summer days.

Some other great indoor ideas that my kids have done or asked for are going to a trampoline park, a movie theater, a bowling alley, an indoor playground, and a local school gym.
My daughter is the one who has gone to the trampoline park the most and she has gushed over how fun it is every time. You can find them all over the place.
If there is a good movie coming out, take the troop to the movie theater. Our nearest theater has a birthday party room with birthday packages you can choose from.
This year, my oldest son is asking for this as his birthday party.
Check into your local school gym for a great birthday party location. It is a wide-open space where all the kids can get crazy, and none of your stuff gets ruined.
We can rent ours on the weekends, use the equipment that is there, and bring in anything that we want. It just has to be clean when we leave.

Party Favor Bags
Girl, I am not going to lie, most birthday favor bags that my kids get drive me crazy.
They are full of junk items that are going to break in a hot minute.
Sooooo….
We do favor bags a bit differently – treats, snacks, and more treats. I know, not the healthiest thing but at least I know it won't break and they won't be disappointed.
Some items that we have done in the past include a full-size candy bar, juice boxes, individual bags of cookies, crackers, and chips, fruit by the foot, gushers, and gum.
The boys were beyond happy about getting these treats.
