Best Gifts For Teachers Aides
MORE TO ENJOY
Now friend, before we get into these amazing gifts for teachers' aides, I just want to say that most of this list is made for women teachers' aides. It has been my experience so far that this is a woman-dominated field.
However, there are gifts on this list that work great for all of the male teachers’ aides too.
1. Thank You Card
Whenever I give a gift to someone who has helped me in some way or my kids, I always include a handwritten thank you card.
I think it shows another level of appreciation for a person when you take the time to write a thank you.
So, don’t forget to include one!
2. Flowers/Plant
You can hit up your local flower shop, or in my case, the grocery store, and pick up some flowers or a plant.
I like going with a small flowering plant best for a teacher’s aide gift. It doesn't cost that much and it will last longer than a beautiful bouquet.
3. Burt's Bees Hand Repair
Teachers' aides have to wash their hands all the time to keep those pesky germs away. But all that washing takes its toll and dries hands out. And oh girl, that can hurt so much.
That is where this Burt’s Bees Hand Repair Kit comes in handy!
It will help relieve that dryness, no problem.
4. Lip Balm
A thank you note with lip balm is an easy and inexpensive gift, but one that will be appreciated.
I love this lip balm/lip sleep mask and have all of my family and friends using it too. It is so good that I use it as a lip balm all day and all night long.
Unfortunately, it does cost more than the lip balms above.
5. Candle
For all the ladies teacher's aides out there, let me tell you, girl, she is going to love this candle. The vanilla, coconut, and pear scent are heavenly.
My friend gave me this candle last year for my birthday and I loved it so much that now I keep a backup all the time.
6. Shower Steamers
These shower steamers are the perfect way to relax after a long day.
And I am sure every teacher’s aide has had her fair share of long days.
The variety pack is my favorite.
7. Water Bottle
I love giving a nice water bottle as a gift because everyone can use it.
This Hydro Flask water bottle has been fantastic for me.
Another water cup that I see everywhere is the Stanley water cup. With that many people loving it up, it has to be good right?
8. Yeti Tumbler
To keep her coffee or tea as hot as possible for as long as possible, you have to get her a Yeti tumbler.
To say that I am completely obsessed with this Yeti Tumbler is an understatement! My husband and I have 3 of these, thankfully 1 was a gift.
9. Personalized Stationery
My daughter and I can’t get enough of this personalized stationery.
We got it for a friend of hers for her birthday and were so happy with how it turned out that we ordered some for ourselves as well.
10. Chocolates
I have yet to meet anyone who passes on a chocolate treat! And believe me, my husband always sneaks my chocolates.
These Lindor Chocolate Truffles are so delicious that you should get some for yourself as well.
11. Magnets
Gosh, is it just me that thinks I never have a free magnet when I need one?
My son’s 2nd grade teacher loves cactuses so these were perfect for her.
I also love clip magnets. They can usually hold more!
12. Nail Polish
For all the ladies’ teachers’ aides out there, this is the nail polish you have to get her! I have been using Essie nail polish for years and it has always lasted on my nails for so long.
A classic red is such a fantastic choice. You can pair it with this top coat.
And if you want to go bananas on this gift, you can include this nail dryer.
13. Tote
Teachers’ aides carry stuff just like teachers do, and that means there is a lot of it.
This is a great size for a tote with enough room to carry everything a teacher’s aide needs.
If you are crafty, you can add patterns to it. I am not though. If you are, let me know in the comments below what products you like to use to add patterns to items.
14. Fishing Gear
For all the guy teachers’ aides out there, fishing tackle makes such a great gift. There is so much to choose from and I know from personal experience that anyone who fishes can never have enough tackle.
We fish for Northern Pike, Bass, and pan fish and this is the tackle we like best for them.
15. Gift Cards
And if all else fails, or you run out of time like I have been known to do with 4 kids, there is always a gift card.
My go-to gift card is to our local coffee shop – Caribou Coffee, and just a regular Visa gift card – since you can spend those anywhere you want to.
Even though a gift card isn't the most glamorous gift, the whole point is showing your favorite teacher's aide that you are appreciating all they are doing for you!
This post was all about the best gifts for teacher’s aides.
What extra activities are your kids in that will be keeping you busy this school year? Let me know in the comments below.
We will be busy with a school play, softball, and basketball that I know of so far.
