Holiday Photo Booth
Teen girls love taking photos. You know they will have the best time taking lots of pictures at this Christmas party.
Set up a photo area. It is so easy.
Christmas foil fringe along with festive Christmas lights makes the perfect backdrop.
The girls will love using these fun Christmas photo booth props.
Even though the girls will more than likely take a bunch of pictures with their phones, nothing beats the Instax Camera.
The girls will love having these pictures to take home.
Christmas Party Glasses
Check out these Christmas party glasses. They will have everyone cracking up and work great in the photo booth.
My kids had the best time wearing these at our house and during a Christmas party with our friends last year.
Secret Santa
The girls can play the Secret Santa name exchange game.
Of course, encourage them to exchange names well ahead of time so they can all go shopping.
A great tip – ask all the girls to share a few items they would love to get.
Then at the Christmas party, they can exchange their gifts.
Christmas Costume Party
Ask your guests to come dressed as their favorite character from a Christmas movie.
Making Seasons Bright
Make this season bright by dressing up in neon.
Better yet, and a bit more festive, Christmas light-up accessories.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
The girls can get funny and festive with an ugly Christmas sweater party.
It will be nothing but laughs as they all check out each other’s shirts.
Watch Christmas Movies
Who doesn’t love a good Christmas movie? A Christmas movie marathon is great with snacks and some hot chocolate is always a hit.
- Christmas Vacation
- Elf
- Prep and Landing (not just for kids!)
- The Santa Clause
- The Holiday
- White Christmas
- It’s a Wonderful Life
Christmas Lip Sync Battle
Lip sync battles are fun to do and watch. Doing it with Christmas carols is even better.
Of course, dance moves are essential.
Sing Christmas Carols
Girls love to sing and singing Christmas carols makes everyone have fun.
If anyone is blessed enough with the gift of playing the piano, get playing and sing those Christmas tunes.
Are they feeling bold and want to spread Christmas cheer? They can go around and sing Christmas carols for your neighbors.
What are your favorite Christmas songs? Let me know in the comments below.
Name That Christmas Tune
Not up for singing Christmas songs? Play name that Christmas tune instead.
Minute to Win It
The girls will have fun with these Minute to Win It Christmas games.
- Cookie Face
- Christmas Tree Stack
- Pom Pom Snowball Fight
- Candy Cane Hook
- One Handed Gift Wrap
Decorate Ornaments
This ornament decorating kit comes with everything you need.
Teen girls will love them!
Decorate Stockings
Make these Christmas stockings more festive with a few decorations.
Here are the craft supplies you need to elevate the plain stockings.
Gift Auction
Ask everyone to bring a wrapped gift. We usually set a price limit, like under $25.
Hand out play money, which everyone can use to bid on the gifts.
You can get crazy and play a second round after all the gifts have been opened to try and “steal” gifts. Everyone should end up with one gift at the end.
Sleepover
It isn’t as bad as it sounds, a bunch of loud, giggling, and sometimes screaming girls. They will have the best time just hanging out with each other.
Let it happen, mama.
Christmas Pajama Party
If a sleepover is part of this Christmas party, then you have to have a Christmas pajama party.
There are so many cute Christmas pajamas to choose from.
Christmas movies, snacks, hot chocolate, and cute pajamas – put it all together and it makes for a cozy Christmas party for your girl and her friends.
Best Christmas Party For Teenagers
Christmas Scavenger Hunt
Make a list of Christmas items around your house that the girls need to find. Some may be harder than others😉.
It doesn’t have to be just one of something either. For example, you can have them search for 12 candy canes, 6 snowmen, 8 reindeer, and so on.
Or you can do a whole 12 Days of Christmas theme😊.
Hot Chocolate Bar
Set up a hot chocolate bar for the girls.
You will need some cute Christmas mugs.
Feeling generous? Let the girls pick one out to take home.
Pick up these essential hot chocolate bar items: hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, whipped cream, and candy canes.
Get an extra of everything because sometimes, the girls get crazy with the ingredients. Believe me, I know!
You can also go bigger and have different flavors of coffee creamer and sauces like chocolate and caramel. They are so good in hot cocoa.
Tell me the truth, are you a candy cane girl? They are just not my favorite!
Bonfire
Have you ever had a bonfire in the snow? So much fun!
Take the hot chocolate outside. The combo of the bonfire and cocoa is the perfect way to stay warm.
Play in the Snow
Does it snow at your house? Strongly encourage those girls to bring snow gear and get outside.
They might think they are too old for it but get them out there anyway.
They can work together to build one epic snowman or split into teams and have a “best snowman contest.”
You can help them add color by mixing washable paint like this Crayola paint and warm water in a squirt bottle or spray bottle. My kids still do this and it makes the snowy yard look amazing.
The girls can also go sledding.
Christmas Trivia
Have your daughter make a list of Christmas trivia questions. You can do it too if she wants to be able to play the game with her friends.
It can be a page that they all fill out or they can break into teams and it can be a verbal game for points.
Build Gingerbread Houses
Set up a gingerbread house making contest.
Girl, gingerbread house kits are expensive if you plan to buy more than one.
And what do you do with them at the end but throw them out? Seriously, they taste terrible.
Instead, save some money and try making the gingerbread houses using graham crackers, containers of white frosting (and other colors if you are feeling spicy), and lots of different candy toppings.
The girls will have a blast and can eat their creations afterwards.
Make Christmas Goodies
The girls can get their baking on with a few Christmas goodies. Here are some delicious Christmas treats to try.
Let’s be honest, though, some teen girls have short attention spans.
You can whip up these deliciously addictive Christmas cut out cookies ahead of the party.
The girls can have fun decorating and eating them.
Make Christmas Party Food
Ask your daughter to pick out some fun Christmas food recipes from Pinterest so you can have all the ingredients ready.
Then at the party, the girls can make their own food. Win for you!
My daughter and her friends love to make food, especially appetizers, at my house. Even though they usually make a mess, they are having a great time. Worth it!
Christmas Appetizers
Board Games
Set out a few board games.
Some great games for 4 players or more include Pictionary, Scattergories, and Catch Phrase.
Christmas Pickle

Have you heard of the Christmas Pickle ornament and tradition?
Your girls will love this challenge.
The gist is to hide a Christmas pickle ornament somewhere on your Christmas tree and then everyone else tries to find it.
The first person who finds it, without using their hands to move any of the branches, gets a small present.
My kids are nuts over this game and would play it every single day if I let them.
Christmas Bingo
Everyone loves Bingo. The girls can play regular Bingo if you have it or they can also play this Christmas Bingo.
Christmas Presents/Prizes for Teens
As promised, here are the best small gift ideas for your daughter and her friends that they will all love and use. Best of all, these are budget friendly!
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite part of the Christmas season is. I can’t get enough of all of it!
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.
