Best Peanut Blossoms Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ Cup Unsalted Butter
- ½ Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- ½ Cup White Sugar plus ¼ Cup to coat the cookie dough balls
- ½ Cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 ¾ cups flour
- 1 Bag Brach's Chocolate Stars
I love using the Brach's Chocolate Stars in my Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies! You can also use Hershey's Kisses.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Use that adjustable measuring cup for the peanut butter.
- Add white sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Cream again.
- Finally, add the baking soda, salt, and last of all the flour. Mix until all the ingredients are combined.
- Using the cookie scoop, scoop out dough into your hand and shape it into a ball. Then roll that ball in white sugar and place it on a cookie sheet.
- Bake the cookies for 8 minutes. At this point, the cookies are not done. Take them out of the oven and press a Brach's Chocolate Star to the middle of each ball. It should flatten to about ¼ inch thick.
- Return to the oven for about 2 – 4 minutes. Your cookies should be light golden brown.
Helpful Tips
- These cookies can cool on the pan for 2-3 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.
- I like baking the cookies for a total of 10 minutes. You get a softer cookie that way.
- Store these deliciously classic Peanut Butter Blossoms in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks.
If you make these cookies, let me know how they turned out! Did you use the Brach's Chocolate Stars or Hershey Kisses?
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.
