Best Toddler Stocking Stuffers
Christmas is my favorite time of year and holiday. I love decorating, seeing the lights, baking cookies, wrapping presents, and everything else that goes with it.
Figuring out what gifts to get all the kids is so much fun for me too.
We are big believers of Santa in this house and I love all the magic that surrounds that!
So, the best part of Christmas morning for me is watching my kids get so excited to see what Santa brings them as gifts and puts in their stockings.
I hope you love Christmas as much as I do. Enjoy every minute of experiencing this holiday through and with your child this year!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
BEST CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS
You can't get toddler stocking stuffers if you don't have a stocking to put them in.
In case you were in the market for a new Christmas stocking for you and your little one, I have found a few of the top-rated ones on Amazon.
There are a wide variety of stockings out there to fit your style.
BEST MANTLE STOCKING HOLDERS
And let's not forget the stocking holders to go with them.
Every time I have seen these in the past, I wished I had a place for them.
This year my husband built me some new shelves. He is pretty crafty with wood working like that.
I am excited to use these mantle stocking holders! Here is to hoping they work well, I will keep you posted.
I do love these snowflake stocking holders since they have the decoration on the top.
But my shelves have a lip on them so they won't sit nice.
These were my first choice though.
If we ever move to a house with a fireplace, I would love to have these!
Let me know in the comments below what you think of these stocking holders.
Are there better ones out there I should get?
Best Toddler Stocking Stuffers
So, back to toddler stocking stuffers. These great ideas are for kiddos that range in age from 1 – 3.
And of course, these are smaller items than the normal Christmas gifts. They have to fit inside stockings!
1. Christmas Ornament
Put an ornament in your toddler's stocking.
Kids can't get enough of Snoopy, my kids included.
Pick out something that they are loving at the time, or something that represents the year.
Over time, you will enjoy seeing the ornaments and think back to how little your kiddo was when they got them.
I give all 4 of my kids an ornament every year. Our tree is filling up. It is so fun to take each of them out every year.
They will have a meaningful collection when they are ready to have their own Christmas tree, tear!!!
2. Water Cup or Water Bottle
A water cup or water bottle would be great as your toddler stocking stuffer.
Pick out their favorite character, animal, or color.
We use water bottles all the time. I am so glad that we invested in decent ones for our kids.

3. Board Books
Reading is so important for young kiddos! Board books are great since they can take a lot of wear and tear.
And you know your 1 – 3-year-old is NOT careful yet!
We have read these books so many times that I can recite them for you! Your kids are going to love them!
4. Water Wow Activity Books
If you haven’t seen these Water Wow books before you have to check them out. So AMAZING!!!
My kids had a bunch of these and they loved them! They last for such a long time.
I have gifted them many times also.
The books come with a refillable water pen. Your kids paint the page that has a basic image on it with the water pen and images and colors appear.
After a while, the page dries and everything disappears minus the basic image, which will make your toddler want to do it all over again.
Seriously, hours of entertainment for your child. You will not be disappointed!
5. Alphabet Cards
Toddlers are little sponges. They learn so much so fast.
These alphabet cards will help your kiddo learn all the letters.
My older kids like to quiz my younger kids and daycare kids with these cards.
I know the box says 4 and up but if you work with younger kids, they can catch on to them with no problem!
6. Paw Patrol Figures
Does your toddler love Paw Patrol? If so, they are sure to love these little cuties.
They are about the size of Little People toys so they will easily fit inside your toddler's stocking.
My youngest got these and he plays with them all the time. My daycare kids love them too.
7. Toy Vehicles
Little kids love to drive things around.
Toy vehicles are not just for little boys either.
Since I have been a daycare provider for the last 8 years, I have watched girls both young and old play with vehicle toys multiple times a day.
There are so many different vehicles to choose from. We have had the best luck with these.
And believe it when I say, these vehicles have been driven into the ground and they still work and look pretty good too!

Bath Time
8. Bubble Bath
Bath time can be so much fun as babies turn into kids since you don’t have to hold onto them during the entire bath.
Put some bubble bath in their stockings!
We love this bubble bath because it makes a ton of bubbles that last for a while!
Seriously, make a bubble bath for your toddler and let them play in it for a while.
You can sit in the bathroom with them and read a book for 10 to 20 minutes, or cruise your phone, or talk to someone you haven’t had time to in a while.
Ultimate multitasking while your toddler is having a blast!
9. Bath Toys
Since you are now considering bubble bath for your toddler's stocking, why not add a few bath toys to go with it?
Bath toys make bath time a ton of fun for toddlers. These bath toys are some that my kids have had the best time playing with.
When any of my boys take a bath, they ask for all the bath toys we have. And I say why not. I give them 5 – 20 minutes to play, depending on our schedule and they love every minute of it.

10. Pajamas
All kids this age need multiple pajamas.
They sweat in them, their diaper leaks through (I always hated when that happened), spill food on them, get sick in them, and so on!
You can get festive with Christmas pajamas or have fun with character pajamas.
Whichever way you go, size up. Pajamas always ran small on my kids compared to their day clothes.
11. Clothes
A shirt or pants are small enough to fit right in your toddler's stocking.
I never shy away from giving my kids gifts of things that they actually need. It is kind of like knocking out 2 birds with 1 stone, am I right?
We have always had great luck with Carters brand clothes. They wash and wear well and they are true to size.
12. Character Socks
There are character socks for everything these days! They are cheap and small enough to use as toddler stocking stuffers.
Last year, my youngest was in love with Paw Patrol and these socks were easy to find. He was running around the house asking everyone to check out his new socks.
I love how excited they can get over something so simple.
13. Slippers
These slippers are so adorable and festive.
Do you keep your heat up during the winter? Who can afford that?
We live in the Midwest and I keep our house at 71°F during the day.
My husband thinks that is too high by the way. But, he isn’t home all day and little daycare babies are all over the floor.
With that being said, my kids and I all have slippers. The daycare kids also keep a pair of slippers at my house.
These are the best slippers that I have seen for toddlers and babies.
They stay on their feet and keep them nice and cozy all day.
There are a ton of options to choose from. You can even put them in your washer!
These are other fun character slippers that I have found to work well.
14. Winter Hat and Mittens
All depending on where you are located, your toddler may need warm winter attire.
This hat and mittens set for girls and the ones made for boys will keep your toddler cozy warm while they are running errands with you.
The mittens are just errand mittens!
They will keep your toddler's hands warm for that but if you are out and about for a long period of time their hands will get cold!
These are the only ones I have recommended time and time again.
Tip for putting them on, have your toddler sit on your lap with both of you facing the same way.
Otherwise, these are a beast to try and wrestle on your toddler!
15. Hair Accessories
If your little girl is anything like mine was she loves to wear pretty things in her hair.
She is 10 now and there are no more Disney princesses in her hair but she still loves to dress it up.
There are so many cute items that you can get for this. The best part is that they are all pretty inexpensive and small enough to be used as toddler stocking stuffers!
These were our tried-and-true hair accessories.
This post was all about the best toddler stocking stuffers.
Leave me a comment below about what you decided to put into your toddler’s stockings. Even though my youngest is just past this age, I have plenty of nieces and nephews to shop for.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by!
Merry Christmas
