MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
1. Sunscreen
Why do people go to the beach? For fun in the sun of course! But no one wants to end up like a crispy critter after their beach outing. It is miserable.
Toss a bottle or 2 of sunscreen in this beach themed gift basket.
I love this spray sunscreen since it is so easy to put on, it dries super fast and gives great protection from the sun. We all use it and have never gotten sunburned.
2. Beach Towels
I know there are some fun printed beach towels for the kiddos but those never seem to last longer than 1 season, and I am all about getting the most bang for my buck with anything I buy.
These beach towels are fantastic.
They are huge, so anyone can use them, soft, and absorbent.
3. Swim Goggles
Kids go bananas over goggles, even if they can't use them correctly. They still try hard to.
We bought these swim goggles 2 summers ago and they are still going strong. And thankfully they didn’t cost that much.
4. Sunglasses
I never go to the beach without my sunglasses.
Add in a party pack of sunglasses like these and I know they will get used. They are made to fit kids and adults.
These sunglasses are the perfect kind to keep in a beach bag in case someone needs them.
5. Beach Bag
Since I have 4 kids, we have a lot of stuff everywhere we go (despite my best efforts not to).
This beach bag is everything a mom could want and then some.
It is big enough to hold what we need for a family of 6 and we always have a little wiggle room for more.
6. Beach Blanket
You and I both know how hot the sun can make the sand, ouch. Then trying to sit on it is out of the question.
But you don’t have to worry about that when you have this beach blanket.
It is a big one and the sand just shakes right off it. This makes for a great picnic blanket as well.
7. Small Beach Chairs
A friend of ours told me about these chairs last summer and wow, what a game-changer! I have a bad back so sitting on the beach blanket gets uncomfortable quickly.
These chairs are such a great fix for that. They are low to the ground, supportive, and compact.
We have used them on camping trips as well.
8. Beach Cooler
Last summer we got this cooler and I am obsessed!
It is a soft-sided cooler that folds down nicely to store but it is also large.
We have used it so many times and have never filled it to the top, and that is with a family of 6.
9. Snacks
Everyone gets hungry at the beach. Toss a snack variety pack. The parents will be thanking you for this.
I know that “hangry” is a real thing with kids and there is no turning back when it sets in.
10. Water Bottle
It is so important to hydrate at the beach.
I can’t tell you how many times I have come home from the beach with a headache and not realized that I should have been drinking more water.
Oh, baby, I love this water bottle. It keeps water cold for hours and hours.
This Stanley Quencher is popping up everywhere lately.
Let me know in the comments below if you have one and think it is worth it for me to get one too.
11. Beach Toys
When kids go to the beach, it is always nice to bring some toys along. Sometimes they just need a break from swimming.
Our beach is on a river that has heavy bigger boat traffic. My kids get exhausted battling the waves while trying to play in the water.
I don’t like taking toys that the wind can carry away. Instead, we love taking these sand toys along - bucket and shovel and sand vehicles.
We have been using these toys for multiple summers and I am pleasantly surprised at how long they are lasting.
12. Water Football
Another toy we love to bring to the beach is a water football.
And believe me, since I have 3 boys it comes with us every single time.
It has a non-slip design on it and that helps for catching it.
13. Toy Beach Bag
This bag was made to be a sports equipment bag but I love it for the beach. It is tougher than the mesh bags that are made for the beach and it is bigger too.
You can easily give the bag a good shake and most of the sand gets off the toys rather than going home with you.
14. Kite
There is always some kind of breeze at the beach so it is the perfect location to fly kites if it isn't too crowded.
We have had a few different kites over the years but these two have lasted the longest - a regular kite and a dragon kite.
15. Bubbles
Blowing bubbles at the beach is so much fun. It doesn't matter how old the kids are.
I have had my fair share of experience with bubbles, and these bubbles are the best.
But if you want to add in a multi-pack of bubbles, I would go with these.
16. Umbrella
Sometimes the beach is so hot that you just need to get out of the sun a bit. This is exactly why you should add an umbrella to this beach gift basket.
There are all different sizes of umbrellas to choose from. I like the smaller ones the best since they are easy to carry in my beach bag.
This post was all about the best beach themed gift basket.
Let me know in the comments below what is your favorite thing to do at the beach. As for me, I love jumping in the water to cool off for a few minutes and then getting out to relax.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.
