Best Baby Shower Gifts For Boys
MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
I love putting together baby shower gifts for boys and girls. It is so fun for me to mix and match the items below to create a gift bag for mama to open.
I always include the following: a small gift for mom, a snuggly stuffed animal, and a board book.
Depending on how close I am to mama, let's say my sister, for example, I will add in other items like a swaddle blanket, a rattle, and baby booties.
You can find all of these items below.
If you find yourself short on cash, see if there is someone who will want to go in on a gift together.
Let’s get into the best baby shower gifts for boys and I hope you have a blast showering the mama-to-be with all the love in the world!
1. Baby Shower Gift For Mom
First and foremost, I know this is a baby shower so you are supposed to bring gifts for the baby but girl, don't forget about the mama-to-be.
This gift could be something as simple as chocolates, these are my favorites, or a gift card for coffee.
She will be so happy that someone remembered her. After all, she is the true Rockstar of this whole experience!
2. Diaper Bag
This is going to be Mama's best and most used new bag.
It has tons of room to hold everything for her new little boy and is durable too.
This bag lasted through 3 boys and we could still use it if we wanted to.
The backpack style is by far better than the duffle, something I didn't realize until I tried them both.
It frees up both of Mama's hands, she will need them, and it doesn't slide all over the place while she will be helping her son.
3. Graco Pack 'n Play
This pack ‘n play is a bit pricey but it is worth it because it is the best.
I love the Graco brand for so many baby items. They are just reliable.
I am a home daycare provider and have 2 of these pack ‘n plays.
They have been put up and taken down for years and they are still going strong.
4. Fisher-Price Jumperoo
Mama is going to love this Fisher-Price rainforest jumperoo. Her baby boy will be able to grow with it for a long time.
We got this with my daughter, she is the oldest, and it got used by all 4 of my kids.
They would get so much exercise that a few times they fell asleep in it.
It is still going strong after my 4 kids and 6 daycare kids have used it.
5. Fisher-Price On the Go Baby Dome
Oh, you guys, this On-the-go Baby Dome is so cool. If your mama-to-be loves to be outside, this is a great baby item for her.
She can take it to the beach, park, or even her backyard and her new baby boy will have a safe and comfy place to play or nap.
I used it most in my backyard but it worked great for us to keep the bugs off my boys when we were camping.
6. Sound Machine
The new mama may not know that she needs a sound machine, but she does!
It will help her baby boy get better sleep and she won't have to tiptoe around her home while he is sleeping.
I have this sound machine. It is basic but I love it.
My kids no longer need it but I use it with my daycare kiddos now.
I have no experience with this sound machine but it has a crazy amount of positive reviews on Amazon so I thought I would share it with you.
If I were you, I would check with mama to see which one she would like better.
7. Bath Baby Set
Get mama all stocked up for bathing her baby boy with this Aveeno baby bath set.
It has baby wash and shampoo, baby lotion, and a stress relief body wash for mom.
We still use Aveeno lotion as a family and can’t get enough of it.
8. Baby Bathrobe
This plush robe is incredibly adorable and the new mama will swoon over them.
I got this blue elephant robe as a gift and it worked great to wrap up my boys after I gave them baths.
9. Baby Towel and Washcloth Set
Mama will be able to use this towel and washcloth set by Carters for a long time with her newborn baby boy.
It comes with 2 baby-sized hooded towels, 1 baby-size towel, and 5 washcloths.
I loved this set because everything was the perfect size for my babies and they washed up well.
And to be honest they were just so cute with my babies wrapped inside.
10. Baby Bath Seat
This is a great blooming bath lotus baby bath seat for newborns.
I gave all of my babies their baths in the sink until they just wouldn't fit anymore.
This seat helped to keep them from sliding all over the place.
It will also help on mama's back and her sore tummy.
11. Health and Grooming Kit
After mama has bathed her baby boy and is all snuggled up in his robe, she will be able to get him extra handsome with this healthcare and grooming kit.
I was so glad I got this as a gift!
She will be able to comb his hair and trim his nails.
Trust me when I say every item in this kit will be used at some time or another.
12. Baby Boy Clothes
There are so many cute boy clothes to choose from. My favorite shirts are the ones with funny sayings on them.
Carter's brand clothes are the ones I could count on the most for durability and sizing. You can't go wrong with a pack of cute short sleeve bodysuits or pajamas.
Everyone goes for the smallest size clothes, but dare to be different and size up. Baby boy is going to grow and need bigger sizes.
Mama will thank you!
13. Baby Boy Booties
These little snap booties are wonderful. The snaps are better than Velcro, which wears out with washing them.
They stay on great and keep the baby's feet nice and warm.
Mama can also put them right in the washing machine.
I had multiple sizes of these and they didn’t wear out going through 3 boys.
14. Baby Swaddle Blanket
I have been giving a swaddle blanket as a gift ever since I received one for my kiddos.
These help babies sleep better while staying snuggly warm.
This comes as a 3 pack, but I usually split them up and pair it with other baby items to give the mama a variety pack.
15. Baby Blankets
Your mama-to-be is going to want to keep this baby blanket for herself. I know I did.
It is the perfect size to wrap her new baby boy up with lots of room to grow.
And with so many patterns, I know you will find just what you are looking for.
My kids all have one, and they all sleep with it still. So soft and comfy!
16. Burp Cloths
All babies need burp cloths including this new little bambino you are celebrating.
These burp cloths are by far my favorite. They are absorbent, wash well, stay on mom well due to their shape, and last.
I have had them for so long, with 4 kids and my daycare kids, and they are still going strong.
17. Bibs
All babies need bibs so you know these are going to get used.
Whichever bibs you choose, make sure they have a snap on them. The Velcro ones wear out with all the washing they have to go through.
I love these bibs. They just work the best.
If you want something fun to help catch all the drool, these bandana bibs are incredibly adorable.
18. Diapers and Wipes
Diapers and wipes are so boring to give and open but, in my opinion, they are close to the most appreciated present you could give Mama.
Her new baby boy is going to go through a crazy number of diapers and wipes and she will be glad that she didn’t have to buy them all on her own.
Having experienced changing diapers with my 4 kids and daycare kids, the best diapers and wipes that I can recommend are Huggies brand.
They are the Rockstars of diapers and wipes because they just work.
19. Diaper Caddy
You can get creative with the diapers and wipes and fill up a diaper caddy for Mama and her new baby boy.
This can get a bit out of your budget in a hurry, so I recommend splitting the cost and gift with a friend.
20. Diaper Rash Cream
Besides diapers and wipes, you can also add in some diaper rash cream.
I tried a wide variety of diaper rash creams and Desitin is the one that worked the best.
It will clear up baby boy’s tushy in no time at all.
21. Snuggle Blanket
Every newborn baby boy needs a little snuggle blanket.
One of my boys got this blanket and he loved the silky border on it so much. Even though he is almost 7, this blanket is still in his bed.
My favorite is the duck.
22. Stuffed Animal
We include one of these little snuggly stuffed animals for almost every baby gift we give. That is if I can tear it away from my kids.
These are so soft, the perfect size for small children to cuddle, and they are machine washable.
Love these so much!
23. Baby Teethers
When it comes to teethers, I have 2 that have worked so well for me. I tell all my mom/mom to be friends and family about them.
There is this cutie carrot teether and this set of teether keys.
24. Baby Rattles
All of these rattles have been fan favorites here. They are baby captivating.
This is a 10-piece set, so you can gift them all or split them up and pair them with something else.
25. Board Books
Start a library for this little guy with some great board books. Mama will love you for a little variety.
These 4 books are some of our favorites, we have many others as well.
26. Crinkle Books
This crinkle book will be an instant favorite as soon as little Mr. starts to explore the world around him.
Crinkle books are a great way to introduce books to babies.
