Inside Toys
There are so many great toys to choose for your little guy! The toys below are ones that we have and I have seen my boys use them time and time again.
To be honest with you though, we do not have the Fire 7 Kids Tablet, but I have heard so many great things about it that I had to include it on this list.
They are all sure to keep your son entertained for a long time.
The toys that have gotten the most use at our house include the Hot Wheels Cars, Hot Wheels Garage, and the Magnetic Blocks.
These have been played with almost every day since my boys got them and some of them have been around for years!
1. Magnetic Blocks
If you haven't seen magnetic blocks yet, you are missing out.
They have been in our house for 5 years now and have been played with almost every day.
I know that sounds dramatic but it is true.
We have 3 sets of them now and they have been a go-to gift for us as well.
Don't get the cheap ones, you will be disappointed, we were!
2. Hot Wheels
You can never go wrong with getting Hot Wheels cars for your little man. The Hot Wheels Garage and the Hot Wheels Criss Cross Track are just the icing on the cake.
There are more Hot Wheels cars than I care to count at our house but I don't care one bit.
My boys get so much use out of them and they are entertained for hours.
3. Kids Tablet
Like I said above, we don't have the Fire 7 Kids Tablet but it is so highly rated on Amazon that I had to include it.
My kids love using my husband's tablet and the ones at school.
4. Remote Control Car
All 3 of our boys got this remote-control car for Christmas last year and it is great.
Pretty durable and entertaining.
5. Voice Changer
My oldest loves jokes and uses his voice changer every chance he can with them.
6. Walkie Talkies
I know these Walkie Talkies are made for grown-ups but these are the ones to get for your son.
One year we got kid walkie talkies and some of them stopped working within a month.
Don't be disappointed, buy the good ones from the start!
8. Take Apart Toys
Our youngest son got this take apart truck toy and loves it.
It helps with problem solving and fine motor skills.
His brothers also play with it but to be honest, it is way too easy for them.
9. STEM Robot
This 12-in-1 STEM Solar Robot Kit is for those 8+ year old boys who love to tinker.
My oldest loves STEM so this was right up his alley as a Christmas present.
I love that it can keep him entertained for hours and that it isn't a super large robot.
10. Ball Shooting Game
Even though all my boys love to "go shooting like dad", my middle son has taken the most interest in it.
This ball shooting game is perfect for him for Christmas (or his birthday, I haven't decided yet).
It is a fun activity to keep him busy when he is stuck inside.

There are so many activities for your son to be interested in – sports, the great outdoors, tech gadgets, and more!
14. Stomp Rocket
Our favorite and the most used outside toy so far is the stomp rocket.
My boys love it so much that we have gifted it to all their friends and my nephews.
Even our neighbors have gotten one for their kids.
Don't be shy, you can see how far you can make it fly too.
15. Nerf Football
Their second favorite is football.
I think we have 6 of them now and my boys have so much fun with them.
Even I learned how to throw a spiral!
16. Baseball
My boys are also into playing baseball. Here is our favorite baseball gear.
The balls are not as hard as real baseballs.
The tee is adjustable and so helpful because I am not the best pitcher.
17. Soccer
Your son is going to enjoy running around and playing with this Wilson soccer ball.
And you will love this soccer net just as much as your son since it folds down for easy storage!
18. Nerf Guns
I put the Nerf Guns in the outdoor section because this is where I wish my boys would use them. Those dang Nerf darts get everywhere.
But they are a complete blast!
19. Binoculars
Help your son take a closer look at the great outdoors with binoculars.
They don't have to be the crazy expensive kind, be real about it - they will get dropped.
My kids have a great time checking out wildlife with their binoculars.

20. Board Games
Playing games with your son can be so much fun. They make for a great family night or rainy-day activity.
I love being able to a game with any of my boys. They become a bit more talkative when they play, so I find out more about them.
Games are also a great way to teach sportsmanship. I don’t know about you, but man my boys hate to lose and they get so dang mad about it. Work in progress!
These are also great games for girls!

The tracing pad and drawing tablet are also amazing and can be used anywhere.
Your son can take either of these on long car rides.

My son got way more into drawing a creating after he got this book.

So fun to watch the creativity flow.

Books
There are so many wonderful books and styles of books to choose from for your son! Picture books, graphic novels, comic books, chapter books, and more.
You just have to find the right ones that he will be interested in which will turn your son into a lifelong reader.
Reading is so important; we never shy away from gifting books for any occasion.
There have been so many times I have walked into our living room to find all my kids with a book in their hands. This makes my heart sing!!!
My boys all love the Narwhal Unicorn of the Sea series and 5000 Awesome Facts.
But here are some other fabulous options that my boys are always bringing home from the library or we own.
