MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
1. Books
Books are the perfect size to fit into your son’s Easter basket, and reading is so important for him. Help build his library.
My 7-year-old son loves reading The Magic Tree House Books and the Narwhal and Jelly Series.
2. Joke Book
And since we are talking about books, you have to include a joke book.
If your son is anything like mine, he loves jokes and loves to laugh and this one will have him laughing for hours.
3. Dot to Dot Book
Dot to Dot books are a great way for your son to practice his numbers and have fun at the same time.
4. How to Draw Books
He is going to have the best time with these How to Draw books. There are so many animals that he will learn to draw.
I have used these with my son and they are great - How to Draw Sea Animals and How to Draw Animals.
5. Boogie Board
He can practice drawing all of those animals on this Boogie Board. Since it is slender and lightweight, he can take it on the go too.
I love this little guy and my son does too. He is using it all the time.
6. Coloring Book and Colors
Crayons, colored pencils, and markers oh my.
Get him a fun coloring book of a character that he is into right now.
My son would love to get this Super Mario Coloring Book.
What is your son into? Let me know in the comments below.
7. Stickers
Your son is going to love using stickers to create epic pictures.
My son, of course, has these Super Mario Stickers and uses them to make countless Super Mario scenes.
It is so fun for me to see what he can come up with.
8. Rain Boots
I am sure your son’s feet have grown right out of his rain boots from last year just like my son did.
Get him a new pair of rain boots for Easter.
I swear by Wester Chief rain boots.
Every single pair I have bought for my oldest son has gone through my 3 boys and then has been handed down to my nephew and they still look brand new.
They aren't though – my boys wore them all the time.
9. T-Shirt
Get him a T-shirt with a fun print or a favorite character on it.
He will go bananas over it and love wearing it.
Size up though so he can wear it longer.
10. Socks
Kids can get mega excited about socks when they have a fun print on them. This is a cheap Easter basket filler that will be used.
11. Sunglasses
Help him block all that spring sunshine with a new set of sunglasses.
Just get a cheap pair though.
12. Swim Gear
Since it is spring, you know summer is going to be here in a hot minute. And I am sure your son grew right out of his old swim gear.
Hook him up with some new stuff. He will for sure need swim shorts but you can also get him a swim shirt and swim shoes.
13. Crocs
My boys wear Crocs whenever I let them.
They are easy to put on and comfortable. You can't go wrong.
14. Bath Bombs
Bath bombs are not just for girls, oh no!
Especially these bath bombs that have a dinosaur inside or a superhero inside.
My son goes nuts over these!
15. Fun Band-Aids
Add some Band-Aids that have fun print on them.
In my experience, these bandages don’t stick as well however I hope your little guy doesn’t get hurt enough that he would need more than these!
16. Stuffed Animal
7-year-old boys are not too old for stuffed animals. All of my boys love sleeping with theirs.
I have had the best luck with this brand.
The stuffed animals are the perfect size to snuggle up and are completely machine washable.
17. Glow in the Dark Blanket
My nephew got this glow in the dark constellation blanket and wow, it is so good!
There are other patterns to choose from like dinosaurs and game controllers.
18. Hot Wheels Cars
Your son can never have too many Hot Wheels cars. He just can’t
Between my 3 boys, we have well north of 100 cars and they are played with all the time.
19. Monster Trucks
If he has enough cars then go for the Monster Jam Monster Trucks.
Thankfully these are cheap so you can add in a few if you want.
These are also a huge fan favorite.
20. Legos
Oh wow, there are so many Lego sets to choose from! And you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Even though we have multiple different sets, the Legos that get played with the most are the Classic Legos.
21. Rainbow Scratch Art Paper
Rainbow scratch art paper is like a magnet to kids. He is going to love making so many pictures for you.
22. Play-Doh
Play-Doh is so much fun to play with but it also works so many other skills for your son – imagination, fine motor skills, building hand strength, and so much more.
Don’t even worry about the mess!
23. Slime
Your son is going to go bananas over this Slime Kit. Boys and slime, they think it is so fun and funny.
Girls love slime too!
24. Games
There are a few smaller games that would fit great in his Easter Basket.
Spot It Jr. and Hangman are fantastic options. Hangman is magnetic so it works great in the car and on the go.
25. Water Bottle
Get him a leakproof water bottle in his favorite color – that way he can use it for a long time.
26. Remote Control Car
Get a remote control car like this one.
He will have so much fun playing with it that you are going to want to try it too!
All 3 of my boys have their own.
27. Money Bank
28. Dinosaurs
Does he like dinosaurs? These dino figures are just the right size for his hands.
Add a dino book so he can learn more facts about them.
29. Nerf Guns
I have such a love-hate for Nerf Guns.
They are an absolute blast but all those dang Nerf darts get everywhere!!!
But trust me, if you are new to Nerf Guns your son is going to love them. Get 2 though because having just one is kind of a bummer.
30. Nerf Football
Since the weather is getting nicer (at least that’s what happens at Easter around here) get him something he can do outside like a football.
We have so many footballs but the one my boys reach for all the time is this Nerf Blitz football.
31. Kite
A kite is such a unique gift. If your son is anything like mine, he will run around for hours trying to keep it in the sky.
32. Stomp Rocket
And the challenge is on with this stomp rocket. You and your son are going to have a blast to see who can make the rockets go the highest.
We have the single stomp rocket and it is ok but we gifted the dual stomp rocket and that is where it is at!
34. Fishing Gear
And finally, if you are a fishing family, get him a tackle box.
If he already has one, add to his tackle collection - fishing lures or maybe some Bass frogs.

Easter is the 1 (and only) holiday that we stay home and celebrate as a family of 6. We go to mass, have an epic Easter egg hunt, have a fancy lunch, and spend the afternoon hanging out together.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.
