MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
1. Precious Moments Figure
Your little girl is going to love displaying this little angel in her room.
As I mentioned, my daughter has completed her First Communion and this Precious Moments Angel was our gift to her. As soon as I saw it, I knew this was the perfect gift for her.
And you know what, it is even more beautiful in person. I can’t recommend this angel enough!
2. Cash Money
If you are short on time or just want to make it easy on yourself (we all need to do that from time to time), give her a card with some cash in it.
It won’t be that exciting for her to open but she is still going to love it.
3. Rosary
Oh wow, there are so many gorgeous rosaries to choose from.
Since your girl is still young and is going to change her mind about her favorites, pick something like this rosary.
It has a very classic look that she can grow with for sure.
4. Bible
Giving a bible as a gift is an amazing way for your girl to learn about God and become more connected to the Church’s teachings.
There are so many versions to choose from but I would go with a children’s bible like this one.
It helps younger kids better understand what the bible is saying and trying to teach. And you know what, I prefer it too.
5. Catechism and the Seven Sacraments
All of my kids (I have 1 daughter and 3 sons) were so excited to explore this book when my daughter got it as a First Communion gift.
It is so engaging since it is Lego, but it also does a fabulous job of explaining the seven sacraments.
6. Prayer Book
As your daughter grows in age, I hope she grows in her faith as well. This book is made just for her age.
But let’s be honest, I read this book just as much as my daughter does!
7. Jewelry
There are beautiful pieces of jewelry to celebrate your girl’s First Communion.
My daughter was given this bracelet and this necklace.
8. Keepsake Box
This keepsake box is small but is just the right size to hold a bracelet.
You can also have it engraved with all the info about your girl's First Communion Day.
9. Picture Frame
Our neighbor gifted my daughter this beautiful picture frame and had it customized just for her.
Your daughter is going to love it just as much.
10. Wooden Cross
She will be able to hang this wooden cross in her room.
Hopefully, it will be a good reminder to pray every day.
11. Plush Lamb
Sometimes it is nice for kids to read or pray with a stuffed animal and this little lamb makes an excellent friend.
My daughter still snuggles up her little lamb all the time.
12. Color Book
Oh man, this color book is so good. She can color bible verses and then hang them up in her bedroom.
My daughter loves to color her pictures with markers and gel pens.
Not Your Ordinary First Holy Communion Gifts For Girls
Now we are going to move on to come First Communion Gifts that are incredibly fun for your little girl but aren’t typical for this celebration. And that’s okay.
The gifts below are just more interesting than the keepsake items above. So what I like to do is give 1 gift from above and pair it with one gift from below.
13. Barbie
Of all the Barbie dolls my daughter has; I think my daughter and I agree that this one is the favorite.
It is so much fun creating lots of different looks with all the accessories she comes with.
My daughter liked the print on the long skirt so much that we found a similar fabric and made a beach bag (for my daughter, not Barbie).
14. Fashion Plates
If you do not know what Fashion Plates are, girl you are in for a real treat. Your little girl is going to spend hours designing clothes and you better get ready because she is going to want you to do it with her.
My daughter has had these for 7 years now and takes them out all the time.
Using colored pencils and gel pens work best to make the clothes come to life.
15. Legos
You and I both know that Legos are for everyone.
And even though there are so many amazing kits out there these days, the classic set is still the best one to get if you ask me.
She is going to be able to use her creative side way more with these.
And if you have any experience with Lego kits and kids, after they get put together the kiddos do NOT want to take them apart. So, there they sit.
16. Board Games
Playing board games together is a fabulous way to hang out without a screen.
If you are not used to playing board games with your girl, you will quickly be blown away at how much she is going to share with you.
We have so many board games, something like over 50 these days. No, that is not a joke. These are the ones my daughter loves the most.
17. Slime
Nothing screams happy First Communion like the gift of a slime kit. I am only kidding!
But this ice cream slime kit is so much fun and I know your girl is going to have a blast with it.
This jumbo slime kit is also really good. My boys checked it out last summer.
Again, congratulations to your girl on her First Communion. And congratulations to you as well for helping her achieve this sacrament.
