Hey girl, I am so glad you stopped by to chat about the best gifts for middle school boys.

Trying to find gifts for middle school boys, gifts that they will be excited about, can be tough. But girl, I am here for you!
As a mom of middle school boys, say what?!, I am here to give you loads of gift ideas that middle school boys are all about.
These gifts for middle school boys are perfect as Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers, Easter basket fillers, back-to-school gifts, birthday gifts, and so much more.
I can’t wait to share all these amazing gifts for middle school boys so let’s get started.
Best Gifts For Middle School Boys
1. Snacks
Every single middle school boy that I have met is all about snacks.
Snacks, snacks, and more snacks.
Pick up his favorites.
2. Watch
He can wear it while he exercises, and it is cheap.
Technically, it is a fitness tracker and he will love to check out everything it tracks.
3. Water Bottle
Help him stay hydrated with a stellar water bottle.
The stainless steel ones like the Hydro Flask Water Bottle and Stanley Water Bottle are so good.
Another dynamite option is the Gatorade Squeeze Water Bottles.
4. Laser Tag
Your son and his buddies will have the best time running around playing laser tag.
It is even more fun when they get to play it in the dark.
This set comes with 4 laser guns and 4 vests.
Don’t worry if the vests don’t fit as the boys get older because there are sensors on the guns too.
And bonus, if you get more than one set, they work with each other.
5. Airsoft
I am new to airsoft but it is becoming something my son and his buddies are interested in, a lot.
What I do know for sure is that you have to require complete face masks at your house for everyone playing.
My friend said one of her son’s buddies chipped a tooth while playing so face masks are the way to go!
6. Walkie Talkies
They are amazing and made to last a lifetime.
7. Binoculars
If he likes the outdoors at all then you can’t go wrong with a good set of binoculars.
Vortex has incredible binoculars.
I have recently learned way more about binoculars than I ever wanted to and found out there are close-range binoculars and long-range binoculars. We are talking mountain hunting here.
So, unless you live in the mountains, the close-range ones are good enough (and cost less).
8. Spike Ball
My brother is quite a bit younger than me (he is closer in age to my kids than me) and has all the cool stuff, Spike Ball being one of them.
My older 2 boys can’t get enough of this game and it gets crazy. It is so fun to watch.
9. Axe Throwing
Our friend has this Axe Throwing game and it is a blast for everyone.
The kids had such a great time with it that we bought one for our house.
It is all plastic so it is incredibly safe. This game is fantastic for getting your son outside.
10. Sports Balls
If your son is into sports and plays competitively, now is the perfect time to gift him things he may need such as a bigger baseball helmet, shoes, sports bags, and so on, because I am sure he grew out of a few things.
But you can also get him fun stuff for playing sports around your house. Here are a few examples.
11. Dart Board
This is a great dartboard since the darts are magnetic. No holes for your walls, oh yeah!
But if you have a wall that can stand a few darts bouncing off it, then this electronic dart board is good also. It comes with soft-tip darts.
12. Sports Cards
Most boys love sports and sports cards are such a hit.
Panini cards give you the most bang for your buck.
I didn’t realize this was the case until my boys were gifted some cards. They have spent hours going over them and always ask for more.
And I know you don’t want these cards lying all over your house so get him a binder too. This binder zips all the way around so no cards can fall out.
13. Clothes
I am sure your son is going through growth spurt after growth spurt and needs new clothes. Giving useful gifts is the best!
Crocs are right up there as a middle school essential!
14. Sunglasses
Get him sunglasses.
There are so many styles to choose from – aviator sunglasses, pit vipers sunglasses (or knock-offs because real ones are expensive), wrap-around, and more square sunglasses just to name a few.
Get the ones you know your son will love to wear.
15. Board Games
Get him a board game or 2 for those junk weather days. Hello – screen free!
Who knows, he may even have a conversation with you.
Great games that middle school boys will enjoy are Chess, Ticket to Ride, and Trivial Pursuit.
16. Books
We both know that reading is so important. Get him a book or 2 to refresh his library.
The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and Harry Potter are both so good.
Do you have any good middle school book suggestions? Let me know in the comments below.
17. Ping Pong
My son just got this ping pong set for his birthday.
It has a retractable net which makes for compact storage and it clips onto your table.
18. Rubik’s Cube
A Rubik’s Cube or Rubik’s Pyramid makes a fantastic stocking stuffer or Easter basket filler.
19. Video Games
Boys and video games, they just can’t get enough.
If you already have one, you can always get him a new game for it.
20. Earbuds
He can listen to music, sports talk radio, or even a movie with his new earbuds.
These earbuds are noise canceling and sweat resistant. They also work with both Android and Apple phones.
21. Flash Lights
It is always nice to have a good flashlight and it will be used way more than you think.
Flashlights are perfect as stocking stuffers and Easter basket fillers.
22. Fishing Gear
If your boy likes to fish, girl, your gift possibilities for him are endless.
We are a fishing family, and personally, I can’t get enough. It is so relaxing with mega excitement thrown in as well.
Here are my top fishing gift options.
23. Hunting Gear
I am sure he has grown out of last year’s hunting gear (or some of it anyway).
Get the middle price range stuff here since he still has more to grow otherwise, you are wasting money, girl. Save that Sitka and Kuiu gear for when he is done growing.
24. Experiences
If your son has everything he needs right now then gift him an experience instead.
You can take him rock climbing, go-cart racing, bowling, to a trampoline park, the batting cages, out to eat, or even a short vacation.
These memories you are building with him will last a lifetime and you can’t replace time together for nothing!
25. Gift Cards
If nothing else on this list is speaking to you, there are always gift cards or cash money!
How do you plan to celebrate big occasions with your middle school boy? Since I am new to the middle school boy phase, I am looking for great suggestions.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.
