Best Gifts For Teachers’ Aides
Now friend, before we get into these amazing gifts for teachers’ aides, I just want to say that most of this list is made for women teachers’ aides. It has been my experience so far that this is a woman-dominated field.
However, there are gifts on this list that work great for all of the male teachers’ aides too.
1. Thank You Card

Whenever I give a gift to someone who has helped me in some way or my kids, I always include a handwritten thank you card.
I think it shows another level of appreciation for a person when you take the time to write a thank you.
So, don’t forget to include one!
2. Flowers

You can hit up your local flower shop, or in my case, the grocery store, and pick up some flowers or a plant.
A small flowering plant works too. It doesn’t cost that much and it will last longer than a beautiful bouquet.
3. Lotion

Teachers’ aides have to wash their hands all the time to keep those pesky germs away. But all that washing takes its toll and dries hands out. And oh girl, that can hurt so much.
That is where this Aveeno Fragrance Free Lotion comes in handy!
It will help relieve that dryness, no problem.
4. Lip Balm

A thank you note with lip balm is an easy and inexpensive gift, but one that will be appreciated.
A few dynamite options include Blistex with SPF and the EOS egg lip balm.
Personally, I am obsessed with this Laneige lip balm/lip sleep mask. It is so good that I use it as a lip balm all day and all night long.
5. Candle

For all the ladies teachers out there, let me tell you, girl, she will to love this candle.
My friend gave me this candle last year for my birthday and I loved it so much that now I keep a backup all the time.
6. Shower Steamers
These shower steamers are the perfect way to relax after a long day.
And I am sure every teacher and teacher’s aide has had her fair share of long days.
The variety pack is so good.
7. Water Bottle/Cup
Every teacher loves a fantastic water cup or water bottle. You can’t go wrong with these options.
8. Yeti Tumbler

We all know that Yeti is known for its amazing quality. That’s why we can’t get enough of them!
Every teacher will love that it keeps coffee or tea warm until the last drop.
9. Personalized Stationery
We can’t get enough of this personalized stationery.
We got it for a friend’s birthday and were so happy with how it turned out that we ordered some for ourselves as well.
10. Chocolates
I have yet to meet anyone who passes on a chocolate treat!
And believe me, my husband always sneaks my chocolates.
These are so delicious that you should get some for yourself as well.
11. Magnets
Gosh, does it seem that you never have a free magnet when you need one? Clip magnets are dynamite.
My son’s 2nd grade teacher loves cactuses so these were perfect for her.
12. Nail Polish

For all the ladies out there, this nail polish brand is so great.
A classic red or pink is always a fantastic choice. You can pair it with this clear top coat.
And if you want to go bananas on this gift, you can include this nail dryer.
13. Tote Bag
Teachers’ aides carry stuff just like teachers do, and that means there is a lot of it.
This is a great size for a tote with enough room to carry everything a teacher needs.
14. Fishing Gear
For all the guy teachers out there, fishing tackle makes such a great gift. There is so much to choose from and I know from personal experience that anyone who fishes can never have enough tackle.
15. Gift Card
And if all else fails, or you run out of time like I have been known to do with 4 kids, there is always a gift card.
My go-to gift card is to our local coffee shop – Caribou Coffee, and just a regular Visa gift card – since you can spend those anywhere you want to.
Even though a gift card isn’t the most glamorous gift, the whole point is showing your favorite teacher’s aide that you appreciate all they are doing for you!
What extras activities are your kids in that will be keeping you busy this school year? Let me know in the comments below. We will be busy with a school play, softball, and basketball that I know of so far.
