1. Halloween Costume Party
On your invitation, ask your guests to wear their Halloween Costumes. It is the best way to get festive after all.
Have everyone vote on which costume they liked the best.
What has been your favorite Halloween costume you ever wore? Let me know in the comments below.
2. Photo Booth
I know a photo booth isn’t a party game but girl, you have to set one up, especially if you have everyone wear a costume.
This is the photo booth area that I set up last year and it was the Bees Knees if I do say so myself.
You don’t have to go this crazy though. These simple materials will create a fantastic photo booth area for your guests too.
3. Halloween Scavenger Hunt
A Halloween Scavenger Hunt is dynamite and works for all ages. I find that splitting everyone up into teams works the best.

4. Halloween Bingo
I have never met anyone who can resist playing bingo. This Halloween Bingo is just what you need.
5. Pumpkin Balloon Pop
Blow up orange Halloween balloons and a few green ones too. Tape them to a wall in the shape of a pumpkin.
You can put small treats or prizes in the balloon.
This game is best for kids 10 and under.
6. Toilet Paper Mummy
Divide your guests into small groups and hand out some toilet paper, it is time for toilet paper mummies.
See which team can create a mummy in the shortest amount of time.
7. Donut Eating Contest
Get a package or 2 of donuts with holes in the middle and a rope or string.
See which party guest can eat the entire donut without letting it hit the ground all the while holding their hands behind their back.
8. Halloween Ring Toss
Kids love the challenge of Halloween ring toss. And you will love that it deflates for compact storage.
9. Pin the Eye on the Monster
If you know Pin the Tale on the Donkey then you know this game. It is an easy one that anyone can play.
10. Guess How Many
This is an easy game and something your guests can do as they arrive and wait for everyone else to get to your party.
Fill a container with delicious treats (my favorite is a mixture of M&M’s, with Peanut Butter M&M’s being my absolute favorite) and let everyone make their best guess.
The prize could be the container of treats (unless you want them for yourself).
11. Eyeball Spoon Race
The eyeball spoon race is challenging and fun. You can have your guests split up into teams and make it a relay race or it can be everyone for themselves.
12. Water Wigglers Toss
Have your guests divide up into teams of 2 and stand across from one another, fairly close.
Toss the water wiggler. If they catch it the team takes one step back and then gets to try again. If they drop it, they are out.
To make it more of a challenge, dip these water wiggler toys in a bucket of water with dish soap to make them slippery.
13. Punch a Cup Game
My boys were recently at a birthday party with a punch cup game and all the kids were nuts over it.
If you have some extra time, you can make it with a big piece of cardboard, tissue paper, cups (like the Red plastic ones), and Halloween Goodies to put inside the cups.
14. Pinata
Kids, teens, and even adults love pinatas. If you have more than 10 people who will take a swing at it, then I highly recommend getting 2 of them.
Check out this Pumpkin Pinata and this Ghost Pinata. They are so cute!
Of course, you can’t forget some delicious Halloween Candy to fill them up.
15. Halloween Egg Hunt
Buy a package of colorful plastic Easter eggs and draw faces on them to turn them into Halloween eggs. The orange ones can be pumpkins, the green ones can be Frankenstein’s monster, and so on.
Fill the eggs with Halloween treats and hide them all over your party. Kids go nuts over egg hunts but adults love it too.
16. Pumpkin Bowling
Grab some plastic bowling pins and some real but small pumpkins. Boom baby, pumpkin bowling.
17. Sack Race
If you can have some birthday activities outside, try a sack race or 2.
These sack bags are big enough for adults to join in on the fun.
18. Halloween Bag Toss
This Halloween Bean Bag Toss can be played inside or outside, I prefer outside because somehow it always seems to get a bit crazy.
19. Pumpkin Decorating Contest
What is Halloween without decorating a pumpkin or 2. Turn it into a contest.
There are a few different ways to create that Jack-o-Lantern. Obviously, everyone can carve them.
However, if you are short on time, I highly recommend decorating the pumpkins with stickers or painting them.
I found these acrylic paint pens with a high color payoff and are so easy for even your youngest party attendee to use.
20. Halloween Face Paint
I know face painting isn’t a game but if this Halloween birthday party is for kids, they will love this activity.
Girl, have you ever seen the line of kids to get their faces painted? It is long and their patience for it seems endless.
I love this face painting kit because it washes off easily with soap and water, makeup remover, and even baby wipes.
21. Halloween Tattoos
If you want something a little easier than face paint but will still be such a hit, try Halloween temporary tattoos.
I know this isn't a game but kids love them.
22. Halloween Rock Painting
Halloween rock painting is great for kids and teen girls. Make it a contest as to who will have the best or do the most in a certain amount of time.
This post was all about the best Halloween birthday party games.
Who are you planning this Halloween birthday party for? Birthday parties are so much fun!
