Cooking Class
Create a meal together or book a cooking class. You may discover a few new favorites.
Cookie Exchange
Bake treats and cookies at home, enough that you can share ½ a dozen to a dozen with each friend. Make sure you tell everyone what you are making so you don’t double up.
It saves you from having to spend so much time in the kitchen.
You can make extras and share them with the elderly members of your neighborhood.
Wine Tasting
Instead of going to a winery, bring the wine to your home. Grab some whites, reds, and blushes, and have a tasting party.
This charcuterie board is dynamite for putting your snacks on.
Food Crawl
I have recently heard about a food crawl and I am intrigued.
It goes something like this, in case you don’t know.
You make drinks at your house, then you go to the next house and have appetizers, then to the next house and have the main course, and finally then next house and have dessert.
A few of my friends have done it and had a great time. They did say it takes a long time, though so plan accordingly.
Fondue Party
Whether it is cheese, chocolate, or both, have a fondue party. Yum!
Game Night
Get together for an evening filled with games. These go best with snacks and appetizers!
These games are great for a crowd.

Plan a road trip. Think something under 3 hours away, unless you plan to stay overnight.
I am sure there is something new you can explore when you get where your going.
Go to a Museum
Discover a new museum; there are big and small ones everywhere. You may even learn something new.
Go to a Theater
Whether it is the movie theater or the stage, go see a show.
I love seeing live plays and my favorite by far has been Singing in the Rain. They made it rain on the stage. So memorable and incredible.

Whether you want to try making new bracelets, earrings, necklaces, or even rosaries, jewelry making will be a lot of fun.
Scrapbook
Get together for some scrapbooking. It is a great way to share materials and ideas.
Sewing
Or maybe sewing is more your thing. There is so much to learn when it comes to sewing and it is more fun to chat while you are working on something.
A great project is making blankets. You could work on blankets to donate to local churches or a nearby children’s hospital.
Painting
Paint a new picture or piece of pottery for your home.
I love going with my daughter to get new holiday pieces.
Explore a Botanical Garden
Discover a beautiful botanical garden if there is one in a conservatory in your area. You may learn about new plants and flowers.

Visit an aquarium. It is so relaxing to watch aquatic animals swimming.
Spa Day
Get your pampering on with at the very least – your nails!
Golfing
Try out an indoor mini golf course.
Rock Climbing
Look up the nearest indoor rock climbing wall. It is a full-body workout and a great way to cheer each other on.
Ice Skating
There is a college nearby that has an open ice skating time. It only costs a few bucks to rent the skates and you get some exercise in.
Laser Tag
Laser tag is not just for preteen and teen boys.
Get out there, girl. There are indoor laser tag courses.
These laser tag guns are so great. Multiple sets sync up with each other (we know 1st hand).

If you haven’t done an Escape Room yet, you have to put it on your list.
My son has done it with his friends and says it is a blast.

Singing karaoke is so much fun.
You can get this karaoke machine if you don’t feel like hitting the town.

Take dancing lessons. Yes, there are dance classes for adults.

Take an exercise class near you.
Our favorite is hot yoga. Whew, that 92°F makes you sweat but it feels so good.

I love playing bingo at home with my kids. We play for treats😊.
Scavenger Hunt
Make up a list of items to search for, split up into teams or stick together, and get to hunting.
This is a blast with teams and even more fun when you tell everyone that they have to have photo proof.
Holidays are a fun time to do a scavenger hunt too.
Explore Caves
I know this is outside, but exploring a cave is technically inside too.
I did not realize how common caves are until my husband pointed it out to me. We have taken our kids in them and I am always amazed at what we learn and see.
Bowling
Bowling, food, drinks, and laughs. Oh, so many laughs! My friends and I always have a blast with this.
