Christmas Ornaments
A tradition that we have going with our 4 kids is that they get an ornament every Christmas. I try to pick one that represents something that they did or really loved throughout the year.
I hope that they will have a nice start of Christmas ornaments when they grow up and move out
.
They know it is coming and sometimes they ask for certain ornaments but they are always surprised and delighted when they open them.
In the past, there has been a horse, a ballerina, Packers helmets, Super Mario, and Paw Patrol to name a few.
Here are the ones that I found for this year.
Yoshi is for my 5-year-old son because it is one of his favorite characters.
Pokémon Pikachu for my 7-year-old son because he is so into Pokémon.
A fishing ornament for my 9-year-old son because he won the biggest fish contest on the summer vacation we took with my whole family this last year.
And for my 11-year-old daughter, a canoe to represent her first multi-day canoe adventure she took with my husband, her grandpa, and her cousin

My husband and I are godparents to our sweet niece who is almost 4.
These are perfect gifts for her and I know she will love them as much as our daughter did when she was 4.

My youngest sweet little boy is 5 this Christmas.
His list wasn’t long but he let me know that the Octonauts Octopod Playset and a teddy bear are things he wanted his whole life. This little teddy bear is so soft and the perfect size for snuggling.
I love how young kiddos explain things!
He also loves reading and there is a new book out in one of his favorite series: Narwhalicorn and Jelly.
And finally, a dot-to-dot count to 100 book because he enjoys doing it and flies through them .

Christmas Gifts for 7 Year Old Boy
The big show, as his aunts and uncles call him, is 7 this year.
They call him that because he is as big as his 9-year-old brother with an infectious smile and personality and the biggest, most caring, and helpful heart of any kiddo I have ever met!
He assures me that he wants to be a spy when he grows up so this spy kit makes the perfect gift for him.
Also, playing anything military is right up his alley so he included more army men, more small diecast planes, and another aircraft carrier – you know, so the ships can battle, mom.
Pokémon cards complete his list and are going to make amazing stocking stuffers. But of course, 1 pack isn’t enough. He is hoping for 5 new packs to help fill up his Pokémon card binder.

Christmas Gifts for 9 Year Old Boy
I have been trying to push off Nerf Guns as long as possible because all those dang darts everywhere are just a pain but this is THE TOP item on my 9-year-old son's Christmas list this year.
This guy of mine also loves thinking challenges so he added the game Q-Bitz and a set of Dominoes, both of which he has had the opportunity to try out at school. I am excited to give them a whirl!
To top off his list, he wanted the newest book in The Bad Guys series, along with the Bad Guys movie. If you and your little man haven’t seen this movie, you should. I found myself laughing out loud more than once!
He also wanted to further his collection of Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.

Christmas Gifts for 10 Year Old Boy
Our nephew is 10 this year and we love showering him with his favorite things.
This kid’s Christmas list included Micro Machines Transformers and his favorite pro teams’ gear. I am more than happy to get shirts for him because I know that they will get used!
I also like to toss in some of his favorite candy treats which include Twix. A boy after my own chocolate favorites!

Christmas Gifts for 11 Year Old Girl
Holy moly, how is my daughter 11 already?
We had a hard realization this year, Santa isn’t real. Ooo, that hit me just as hard as it hit her but I am so glad that she was able to experience that Christmas magic as long as she did.
This girl had a super short list, and to be honest she struggled to come up with these items. I am so glad that she is that content with everything she has!
First up, she thought this Instax Camera would be a blast to have. And with her hanging out with her friends more often, I couldn't agree more.
We tossed in some film, of course. But I think I may have to get a few more packs.
She also wanted a watch. Nothing crazy fancy but she did ask if it could track her steps since she is a runner.
Fun hair clips are going to work great in her stocking.
Last on her list, really it is right at the top, is a puppy. A real live puppy. My husband and I are not quite up for getting one for Christmas but her birthday is in the spring and she just might get her wish.

Christmas Gifts for 15 Year Old Girl
Our niece is 15 this Christmas and has a basically non-existent Christmas list. Just gift cards, which is fine but I think she should still be able to open some kind of gift.
This last summer my husband, his dad, our niece, and my daughter went on a 5-day camping adventure so my daughter created a photo keepsake book on Snapfish for her grandpa and cousin.
If you have a teen girl, you know that there can be a bit of sass in your every day with her. So, we may get her a shirt with a sassy saying on it.
Teen girls can be so hard to shop for when they give you no direction!

Just like my daughter, I feel very content with everything that I have so I don’t have much on my Christmas list.
There are these amazing dark chocolate, caramel, and sea salt graham crackers that a fancy grocery store makes, and those are top of my list.
I would also be over the moon if my husband treated me with new jewelry. Now don't go thinking that I get this often because I certainly don't but I would be happy if he decided to go this route.
