Best Kindergarten Graduation Gift Ideas
MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
1. T-Shirt
Snag a t-shirt for your kiddo to wear on the last day of school or sometime during the last week.
They also help make great end of the school year pictures.
2. Picture Frame
I love this picture frame as a kindergarten graduation gift. It is so colorful and happy, just what a year in kindergarten should be.
Your kiddo will be so happy to display a picture from graduation day.
3. Stuffed Animal
Your kiddo is still young enough that a stuffed animal is such a hit and will be loved for years to come.
Just this last Christmas, we gave our kindergartener this cute puppy and he sleeps with it every night4. Beach Basket
Being on the brink of summer, why not put together a beach/swimming basket?
The must-have items to include are a beach towel, goggles, sandals, a swimsuit, and a swim shirt.
This is what we plan to give our kindergartener for his graduation.
Turns out he has done a lot of growing this past year and his sandals, swim shorts, and swim shirt do not fit him.
He looks like he is trying to burst out of his shirt. I know you know what I mean too!
5. Water Bottle
Another item to help bring in summer is a water bottle, a nice water bottle. Pick out your kiddo's favorite color.
Your kiddo will be putting it in that backpack water bottle pouch come 1st grade!
If you are in the market for a new water bottle, I like the 22 oz size. It fits best in vehicle cup holders.
You can add these stickers too. They stick on these water bottles so well.
6. Books
Let your kindergartener continue to explore books and reading during the summer by further building his library.
These are some fan favorites over here.
Let me know in the comments below which kids’ books you have memorized! For me, it is Elbow Grease.
7. Coloring Basket
All kids love to color. You can put together a coloring basket. My kids love these coloring books, and I am so impressed with them as well.
The paper is a bit thicker so the color doesn’t run through (even with markers).
Your kiddo is going to be so excited to hang it up.
When it comes to colors, I have tried so many different brands and the only one I keep coming back to is Crayola.
They just have the best coloring supplies, in my opinion.
8. Light Up Tracing Pad
If you are fully stocked on coloring supplies, then you have to check out this light-up tracing pad.
This thing is amazing and gets a workout here.
I only wish I had something so cool when I was a kid.
9. Rainbow Art Scratch Paper
You and I both know that rainbow scratch paper is a blast and kids can’t get enough of it.
I love using it too, ha!
10. Activity Books
I have been using these books for years now and they do an amazing job of keeping kids learning throughout the summer.
They are colorful and incredibly engaging.
Even if your kiddo does only a page or 2, it will help her be ready to swing into 1st grade with ease.

11. Legos
I can’t even begin to tell you how many hours my kids have spent on Legos.
Lego kits are great, we have more than a few. However, get the classic Legos.
Your kindergartener will get way more use out of these since he can create as many things as his imagination dreams up.
Add in some Lego base plates and your kiddo should not be bored this summer!
12. Activity Kits
Here are a few kits that are perfect for kindergarten graduates. I previously ran a home daycare and we tried all of these. My kids couldn’t get enough.
Their favorites by far were the slime and science kits.
13. Snacks
Start your kindergartener's summer stocked up on snacks.
Is it just me or do kids go through twice as much food during the summer?
14. Board Games
No matter what the occasion is, board games make for a fabulous gift. We have somewhere north of 50 board games now and my kids are having a blast trying them all out.
Just this last weekend my 10-year-old discovered Clue and Fishopoly (a version of Monopoly).
Here are the best games for kindergarteners.

15. Boogie Board
Are you going to be on the go this summer?
Then you have to get your kindergartener a Boogie Board, a.k.a. electronic paper.
All of my kids love their boogie board so much. They have used them at home, in the car, and even on our boat.
You will be amazed by this board and want one for yourself. I may have one too.
16. Remote Control Car
My daughter has just as much fun driving around remote control cars as my boys do, and let me tell you – she is a girly girl!
These are really good and you better watch out because they have some zip to them.
17. Gift Cards
Does your kiddo have a restaurant that he gets bananas excited about? Pick up a gift card for it. You will be surprised how excited he will be over a gift card.
For my son, it would be Dairy Queen, hands down. And we don’t even go there that often.
18. Go Out To Eat
If you want to blow her mind, take her out to eat to celebrate. At our house, this would be a huge deal since going out to eat is so expensive now.
Paying for 6 about has me tipping over every time I see the bill. However, big events call for celebration!
I am just scared to see what going out to eat is going to cost in 5 – 8 years when I have 4 hungry teenagers.
19. Money
If none of these amazing gift ideas work for you, you can always give the gift of money.
Pick a musical card, and she is going to love it.
Congratulations to you and your kiddo for making it through kindergarten! I wish you nothing but the best in the educational years to come.
