Hey girl, today let's chat about everything you need to include in a mom-to-be gift basket!
Everyone gets so excited when it comes to pregnant friends, sisters, and daughters and ends up giving gifts that are for the new baby. That is so helpful but the new mama wants some love and attention that is all her own.
When I was pregnant with all 4 of my kids, everything revolved around that bambino growing inside me and I felt so left out☹(even though I have never been the center of attention type of person). I shared this with my husband during my first pregnancy and he tried extra hard to show just me some love with mini mom-to-be gift baskets.
Girl, it was so helpful and lifted my mood so much.
So go ahead and show your prego mama some love with an epic mom-to-be gift basket or spread out the love and make a mini gift basket for each trimester. Because believe me, as she becomes more pregnant, she will need some extra love!
Let's jump into all of the best mom-to-be gift ideas. These are all items that I still love and use and my youngest is now 6.

MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
1. Water Bottle
You know it, girl, hydration is so important for everyone but especially for pregnant women.
My ride-or-die water bottle is the Hydro Flask water bottle. The 22 oz size fits in every car and stroller cup holder!
2. Yeti Tumbler
I know, Yeti. You either love it and use it or it seems you have a beef with it. But guys, I can’t get enough of them.
Your friend is going to be on the move when that new baby arrives and the Yeti tumbler is going to keep her coffee hot for a long time.
I use one every morning and my coffee has always been hot to the last drop.
3. Lip Balm
This lip balm (it is actually a lip sleep mask but I use it all day long) has been a game changer.
Dry lips are such a battle for pregos and new moms. But with this stuff, your friend will never have dry lips again.
You might as well get one for yourself, you won’t be sorry!
If you don’t want to get it from Amazon, it is sold at Sephora as well.
4. Makeup
How well do you know this Mama? Well enough to know the kind of makeup she uses?
You can help her feel her best throughout her pregnancy by restocking a few of her favorites.
I love these everyday makeup products. My skin is dry to normal.
5. Tote Bag
After that baby is born, and a long time after that, your Mama is going to need a tote bag. I thought I would be able to downsize after I finally got rid of the diaper bag but nope.
This is the bag I carry daily anywhere that I go with my kids and it can hold a lot!
Here is a fantastic tote for the summer and it is huge. I love that it has a zipper on it.
6. Chocolates
Let her indulge a little bit with some tasty Lindor chocolate truffles.
These are delicious and I always keep them stocked in my house.
7. Candle
I have never been much of a candle person until I got this candle for my birthday. Its scent is Vanilla, Pear, and Coconut and I am obsessed.
Even the prego friend with the most sensitive nose (every smell bothered me when I was pregnant) will enjoy this one.
8. Cozy Socks
If your friend is anything like me, and probably every other prego on the planet, she just wants some piece of clothing to fit while she is pregnant.
These socks are everything – so cozy, soft, and warm.
9. Soft Blanket
And if snuggling in those fuzzy socks isn’t enough, this Sherpa fleece blanket will keep her nice and warm.
We have a few of these blankets and everyone wants to use them the most.
10. Nail Polish
Help her feel pampered with this DIY nail kit, even if she is the one pampering herself.
Essie Nail Polish has worked so well for me that I have stopped buying other brands. My favorite colors so far are Mod Square, Really Red, and Flirt With Freedom.
I don’t have room to store a nail dryer but it turns out a hair dryer works just as well😊.
11. Shower Steamers
Let your friend feel like she is at a spa with these shower steamers.
I just want to warn you, they are fragrant! If she is sensitive to scents right now, you may want to pass on these.
12. Lotion
Every prego can use more lotion!
I had to search to find the best lotion for my sensitive skin when I was pregnant and I am so glad I found this Aveeno Fragrance Free lotion.
It is so hydrating.
The body wash is pretty terrific as well.
13. Hair Wrap Towel
This hair wrap towel is amazing and can be used on any hair type.
I have curly hair and it cuts down on my frizz so much.
14. Bathrobe
I wasn’t a big bathrobe person until I became a mom. Then I ended up using it all the time.
This one is cozy and warm.
She will be able to lounge in it or toss it on in the middle of the night when she is with her new baby.
15. Book/Magazine
Give her something to pass the time that isn’t her phone. A great book or new magazine will do just that.
Right now, I am reading “Becoming” by Michelle Obama.
Let me know in the comments below if you have any book suggestions!
If you want to splurge on her (and she doesn’t have one) get her a Kindle.
I ended up getting one with my 3rd baby and it changed everything for my reading game. As it turns out, when the baby comes the mama becomes one-handed.
The Kindle is perfect for that and since it has a light, she can read it for all those late-night feedings and snuggles without disturbing her baby.
16. Tums
I add Tums to every mom-to-be gift basket I give. She is going to need them at some point.
Recently we discovered Tums Chewy Bites and wow those are good. They work and don’t taste like you are chewing on chalk.
17. Jewelry
This is such a major time in your friend’s life. Nothing screams documenting it more than jewelry.
My favorite place to get jewelry is Shane Co.
They have a wide variety to choose from in a wide price range.
And they ship everywhere.
18. Digital Picture Frame
We got this digital picture frame for our mom and she can’t get enough. I loved it so much that I have one too.
There are so many to choose from but I picked this one because it has internal storage space which means it will work whether you have your internet turned on or off.
This post was all about the best mom-to-be gift basket ideas.

I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.
