Hey girl, today let’s chat about how you can make some delicious nut goodies, perfect for all the chocolate lovers out there!
Growing up in a big family (I am one of 8) means my mom made large batches of every kind of cookie and treat at Christmas, bless her! And one of my favorite Christmas treats is the Nut Goodies. It just wouldn’t be Christmas without them.
I know after you try just one, Nut Goodies are going to be a treat favorite at your house as well.
And girl, these aren't just for Christmas. You can make them anytime you need to take a delicious treat with you - birthday parties, baby showers, cookouts, graduation, you name it.
When it came time for me to start making Christmas treats with my kids, I knew Nut Goodies had to be on my list. My kids love to help make them since they are so quick and easy.
Nut Goodies are a fantastic addition to any Christmas treat platter but you can make them for any occasion where you need dessert for a crowd.

Best Nut Goodies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 – 12 ounce bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 – 12 ounce bag of Butterscotch Chips
- ½ Cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2 pounds of White Almond Bark
- 1 ½ pounds Spanish Peanuts
Instructions
- Spread a few sheets of wax paper out on your counter or table. Each sheet should be about the size of a cookie pan.
- Add Chocolate Chips, Butterscotch Chips, Peanut Butter, and White Almond Bark to your stockpot. Melt on low heat while stirring often.
- After everything is smooth and creamy, stir in the Spanish Peanuts.
- Remove from heat and let cool for about 3 minutes.
- Be careful with this next step since the pan is still warm. Drop scoopfuls of Nut Goodies onto the wax paper. It will spread a bit since it is still warm.
- Once they are fully cool, remove and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Helpful Tips
- It is up to you which size cookie scoop you want to use – the small one or the medium one. I always use the small one.
- You can make these yummy treats ahead of time and store them in the freezer.
- If you want to go super festive with these Nut Goodies, add Christmas sprinkles right after you drop them on the wax paper.
- When I make my next batch of these babies, I am going to use dark chocolate chips instead of the semi-sweet and use chopped pecans instead of the Spanish Peanuts. Don’t be afraid to cater these to your liking!
