Jelly Roll Pan (or any oven safe pan)
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef, browned
- 1 Packet Taco Seasoning
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Bag Tortilla Chips
Extra Ingredients
Tailor these extra ingredients to your liking.
- Sour Cream
- Taco Sauce
- Salsa
- Guacamole
- Dice Tomatoes
- Diced Peppers
- Dices Onions
- Olives
- Corn
- Lettuce
- Lime Rice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Brown ground beef until all the pink is gone.
- Add the taco seasoning to the ground beef and follow the directions on the back of the package.
- Arrange the tortilla chips on the jelly roll pan. Having a pan with sides is important!
- Sprinkle layer the ground beef on top of the tortilla chips.
- Add the shredded cheese on top of the ground beef and chips.
- Place in the oven for about 10 minutes.
- Your nachos will be done when the cheese is all melty.
- Add the extra toppings when you put the nachos on your plate.
- Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
Helpful Tips
- You can use any kind of meat you wish – shredded beef, shredded pork, and shredded chicken are all delicious on these nachos.
- The cheese you use does not have to be Cheddar. Other great options include shredded queso, taco cheese blend, and Mexican style.
- This sheet pan nachos recipe can easily be doubled. It is okay to do 2 rounds of layers on the same pan. In fact, we have to double it every time now that our kids are getting older. Family of 6 here.
