Best Simple Bridal Shower Gifts
MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
1. Cash
If you have waited until the complete last minute to get a gift, give the gift of money. Your bride will use it at some point guaranteed.
2. Gift Cards
If you want to go a step above cash, but still want to keep it as simple as possible then go with a gift card. Get her a gift card to wherever she is registered or a gift card to somewhere she loves to get coffee or go out to eat.
If you know where she plans to get her hair done, you could even get her a gift card for that.
3. Something from Her Registry
Another way to make things simple for you, get your bridal anything from her registry. Let me repeat that - FROM HER REGISTRY. She added it to her registry for a reason.
Girl, I hated getting home décor gifts at my bridal shower that guests thought I would love. I didn’t keep it. It sounds harsh but everyone has their own style.
4. Wine
Get your bride a few bottles of wine.
She will have the best time relaxing with her future husband while drinking it. Pick out a few different kinds too. It is fun to try new ones.
5. Digital Picture Frame
If you know your girl does not have a digital picture frame then you have to get her one.
She can send loads of pictures right from her phone from her bridal shower and upcoming wedding, so much better than keeping them on her phone and hardly ever looking at them.
It will be something that she looks at every single day.
I know this because we look at our digital picture frame multiple times a day.
6. Wedding Dress Hanger
Even though we are talking about simple bridal shower gifts doesn’t mean we are talking about last-minute bridal shower gifts.
Get your bride a customized wedding dress hanger.
They are so beautiful.
7. Favorite Treats for Movie Night
My sister had multiple bridal showers (one for our side and one for his side) and since I was in the wedding, I wanted to attend them for her. However, she made me promise to not get her a gift for each one.
But girl, I just couldn’t help myself and got one big present for one bridal shower and then put together a favorite treat for a movie date night basket for another. I had to ask what their favorite treats were but I added in a few other snacks.
She said it was one of the best presents since they were able to spend some relaxing time together.
8. Blanket
Pick out a neutral color for her in the twin to queen size then she can put it on her bed if she wants.
Girl, this blanket is so good that you should put one in the cart for yourself.
9. Cookbook
Every girl can use a good cookbook that has easy-to-follow recipes (without a ton of crazy ingredients).
Women love Joanna Gaines (really, have you met one that doesn’t because I haven’t) and her cookbook Magnolia Table is full of delicious recipes.
10. Bath Towels
Your bride needs bath towels, good bath towels.
We were gifted bath towels for our wedding and 15 years later they are still going strong. The bath sheet size is where it’s at when it comes to bath towels.
11. Bridal Robe and Slippers
Honestly, a robe is essential because your girl isn’t going to want to lift anything over her head once her hair and makeup are done.
12. Pamper Kit
Put together a pamper kit for your bride. Just another way for her to get some relaxation in.
You can include bath bombs or shower steamers, a sugar body scrub, and body lotion.
13. Candle
Pair that pamper kit with a candle from the Allswell Spa line. Even though these candles are from Walmart, they are elegant and smell so good.
So far, I have tried the Glow candle (Vanilla, Coconut, and Pear) and the Embrace candle (Vanilla, Sugarcane, and Almond) but there are lots more to choose from.
14. Games
Get your girl a board game or 2. You heard me right, a board game or 2. They are great to play when family and friends come for a visit or the newlyweds can have a game night.
Some amazing games include Ticket to Ride, Trivial Pursuit, and Sequence.
15. Vase
A classic glass vase will never go out of style.
Hopefully, your bride will receive flowers from time to time from her husband!
16. Thank You Cards
Toss in a package or 2 of thank you cards.
Your girl is going to need them for her bridal shower(s), bachelorette party, and her wedding.
A Few Tips For Bridal Shower Gifts
Give what you can afford and don’t feel pressured to go past your budget. When my friends first started getting married, I had little money so my gifts were simple and they didn’t care. They just wanted me to be there.
Know what kind of bridal shower you are going to and gift appropriately. Your bride most likely doesn’t want to open embarrassing/personal gifts in front of a crowd.
Brides create a registry for a reason. If you don’t want to use the registry, give cash. Unfortunately, there were multiple items that I received from my showers that weren’t our style or even useful to us and we had to get rid of it.
It is okay to ship larger items to her home, even if you are attending the bridal shower. Sometimes your bride doesn’t have enough room in her vehicle to transport big items.
Even if you are hosting the bridal shower, you should give a small gift.
This post is all about the best simple bridal shower gifts.
