Best Things To Do For Ladies Night
Book Club
Start a book club and you can get together once a month to discuss it.
I do this with my sisters and it is a great way to make sure we connect often, even though we live a little farther apart.
If you have any great recommendations, let me know!
Potluck Dinner
If there are quite a few of you, plan a potluck dinner.
You can do a theme like all game day food, appetizers, or BBQ.
Offer to host, you may end up with lots of yummy leftovers.
Yard Games
Have a Bonfire
Plan those yard games for the late afternoon/evening and add in a bonfire. Everyone loves them and will be relaxed hanging out by it.
Movie Night
Stock up on microwave popcorn, candy, and cookies - you know, all the treats to watch a movie.
If the weather is decent, host an outdoor movie. Check out this projector and screen combo.
You can sit around that bonfire I just mentioned.
What is your favorite kind of movie? Let me know in the comments below.
Volunteer
Volunteer for a good cause.
Places are always looking for volunteers.
Prayer Circle
Find a deeper connection with your faith and friends with a prayer circle.
Or you can do a prayer walk.
We just did a rosary walk with the religion kiddos.
Best of all, this is free!
Game Night
Get together for an evening filled with games. These go best with snacks and appetizers!
Try these games out.
Appetizer Recipes You'll Love
Favorite Things
Ask everyone to bring their favorite things such as drinks, food, games, books, and movies.
Cookie Exchange
Bake treats and cookies at home, enough that you can share ½ a dozen to a dozen with each friend.
This is fun to do around the holidays (any holiday).
It saves you from having to spend so much time in the kitchen.
You can make extras and share them with the elderly members of your neighborhood.
Out to Eat
This is simple and a classic ladies get together idea.
And hey, a girl has got to eat.
Have a Picnic
Want to get more creative about eating? Go on an evening picnic together.
Cooking Class
Create a meal together or book a cooking class. You may discover a few new favorites along with cooking tips and tricks.
Wine Tasting
Instead of going to a winery, bring the wine to your home. Grab some whites, reds, and blushes, and have a tasting party.
Food Crawl
It goes something like this, in case you don’t know.
You make drinks at your house, then you go to the next house and have appetizers, then to the next house and have the main course, and finally the next house and have dessert.
This does take a bit, so starting mid to late afternoon is best.
Fondue
Whether it is cheese, chocolate, or both, have a fondue party. Yum!
Murder Mystery Party
We have done a murder mystery party a few times now, for bachelorette parties and even Christmas, and everyone joined in to play their part.
If you are going to do this one, set up a photo booth area. Don’t miss out on everyone in their costumes.

Seasonal activities are so fun.

Sewing
Or maybe sewing is more your thing.
There is so much to learn when it comes to sewing and it is more fun to chat while you are working on something.
A great project is making blankets.
You could work on blankets to donate to local churches or a nearby children’s hospital.
Exercise
Go for a walk, bike ride, or even an exercise class with your friends.
Take an exercise class near you.
Our favorite is hot yoga. Whew, that 92°F makes you sweat but it feels so good.
Rock Climbing
Look up the nearest indoor rock climbing wall.
It is a full-body workout and a great way to cheer each other on.
Ice Skating
There is a college nearby that has an open ice skating time.
It only costs a few bucks to rent the skates and you get some exercise in.
Dancing Lessons
Take dancing lessons. Yes, there are dance classes for adults.
Laser Tag
Laser tag is not just for preteen and teen boys.
Get out there, girl. There are indoor laser tag courses.

Towns have festivals all the time. There is something for everyone at festivals.
Visit a Museum
Discover a new museum; there are big and small ones everywhere. You may even learn something new.

If you have never been to an orchestra, I highly recommend it.

Or maybe sports or more your thing.
I have been to both pro games and semi-pro.
I have to say, I love the semi-pro ones more. They just seem to have more fun with it and it is cheaper!
Casino
Ok, the casino is not my thing but I will go when my friends ask. Some of them love it.
Bingo
Bingo can get pretty wild, especially when there is a lot of money in the pot.
I love playing bingo at home with my kids. We play for treats😊.
Scavenger Hunt
Make up a list of items to search for, split up into teams or stick together, and get to hunting.
This is a blast with teams and even more fun when you tell everyone that they have to have photo proof.
Holidays are a fun time to do a scavenger hunt too.

Bowling, food, drinks, and laughs. Oh, so many laughs! My friends and I always have a blast with this.
