Kitchen Supplies
Before we jump into how to make this delicious dip, let's go over the tools you need to make it come together.
KitchenAid Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer
Large Mixing Bowl (only if you are using a Hand Mixer)
Either a Deep 8x8 Baking Dish or a 9x13 Baking Dish
Warm Buffalo Chip Dip
Ingredients
- 2 packages of Regular Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
- 2 Chicken Breasts, cooked and shredded
Instructions
- Mix your cream cheese with either your stand or hand mixer until it becomes mostly creamy.
- Next, add the shredded cheddar cheese, Frank’s hot sauce, and the shredded chicken breasts. Mix until everything is combined evenly.
- Pour this mixture into your baking pan and spread until even.
- Bake at 350°F until cheese is bubbling. Check it after 10-12 minutes.
Helpful Tips
- This Buffalo Chicken Dip is served best with a sturdy cracker such as Wheat Thins or Triscuits. Ritz also works, but you have to put the dip on with a spoon so the cracker doesn’t break mid-scoop (just my experience). You can also use pretzels.
- It is also tasty as a veggie dip. And let's not forget about putting it on chicken - chicken wings, drummies, wraps, and more.
- You can make this a milder dip by adding less Frank’s hot sauce. It still tastes oh so good.
- You can make it a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator if you like to plan ahead. Just don’t bake it until right before you want to serve it. If the dip is cold from the fridge, you will have to add a few minutes to your baking time.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Girl, that is it, and wow – it is so easy. Enjoy.
