MORE FOR YOU TO ENJOY
Before you start to put any of these baskets together, you should look at the bride and groom’s registry and see if there is anything they need. Most of the time there is something still on it that you can build a gift basket around.
1. Cooking Gift Basket
Everyone needs to eat so a cooking gift basket is perfect for your couple (or any couple).
There are lots of items you can add.
Your bride will love the Magnolia Table cookbook by Joanna Gaines.
2. Pasta Gift Basket
For my wedding shower, I was gifted a pasta basket.
A colander was used as the basket and it included:
Even though all the food is long gone, we still use the colander and pasta spoon.
3. Slow Cooker Gift Basket
A slow cooker is essential for every kitchen and is so helpful for couples who are on the go.
This is one of my favorite slow cookers. Add in a slow cooker cookbook, slow cooker liners (amazing!!!), and some spices and seasonings.
4. Baking Gift Basket
This baking basket is perfect for the couple who likes to whip up a few sweets now and then.
Use mixing bowls as the basket.
You can include so many things and I could go on and on.
Baking Pans like Cookie Sheets or Muffin Tins
Measuring Spoons and Measuring Cups
Cookie Mix and Cake Mix
This is one of my favorite ones to put together because I love baking so much.
5. Breakfast Gift Basket
Pancakes always come to mind when I think breakfast, and girl, it isn’t even my favorite breakfast but it is a classic.
So if you want to run with the pancake theme then you have to include these items.
When it comes to syrup, you can add a few different flavors – the original (of course), blueberry, and raspberry to name a few.
6. Coffee Gift Basket
Does your couple love coffee? Here is the perfect gift for them.
If you know what their favorite coffee is, include it. But if you don’t, ask and then include it. Or you can be bold and get them a variety pack.
Of course, you would also need to include some drinkware. Matching white coffee cups are a classic option but you can also include his and hers Yeti Tumblers so they can take their coffee on the go.
And to take it one step further, add a coffee syrup variety pack.
7. Wine Gift Basket
Take a spin through the wine aisle and grab a few different bottles of wine. You can also include wine glasses (stemless glasses are so great) and an electric wine bottle opener.
To top it off, toss in a bag of chocolates. You can’t go wrong with Lindor Truffles.
8. Spa Gift Basket
Create a spa basket so the newlyweds can relax together.
There are so many items you can add here but the must-haves include these items.
9. Picnic Gift Basket
Even though picnic baskets and bags are so cute, I can guarantee they will use this collapsible soft-sided cooler more. I have it and it is big enough to hold food for 6 with room to spare.
Also, include this large picnic blanket.
To top it off, these Yeti mugs are perfect for any kind of drink.
10. Snack/Treat Gift Basket
Put together a basket full of snacks and delicious sweet treats.
You can add jerky, popcorn, popcorn seasonings, nuts, chips, and crackers for the salty side of things.
And you can add a variety of sweets. Walmart has an amazing section of boxed sweets like you would see in a movie theater.
If you want to be sure you are getting stuff they will eat, ask what some of their favorites are and run with it.
11. Date Night Gift Basket
Help the newlyweds keep their romance going with a date night gift basket.
Include a date night book, a bottle of wine (or preferred drink of choice if you know it), chocolates, popcorn, a candle, and a soft blanket.
This date night book is fun. It has 35 scratch-off ideas in it.
And this is the blanket you have to get them. It is a Sherpa fleece blanket and will be the one they always reach for. Get it in at least the twin size so they can both fit under it. There is also a kind and queen size as well.
12. Game Night Gift Basket
Put together a game night basket. It will give your couple something to do together besides watching a movie.
These games are perfect: Mancala, Playing Cards, Sequence, Jenga, Ticket to Ride, Sorry, Checkers, and Chess.
Toss some snacks in there as well like popcorn and cookies.
13. Ice Cream Gift Basket
Create an ice cream basket. They will have a blast with this one.
Depending on how crazy you want to go, you can start with an ice cream maker. This one is so easy to use and is quick too.
They can store their ice cream in these reusable ice cream containers.
Finally, bring on the toppings – sauces, sprinkles, nuts, cherries, candies, cookies, and more.
14. Camping Gift Basket
Does your couple like to camp? Get them some smaller items for their next camping adventure.
Sunscreen, bug spray, flashlights, s’more sticks, a hammock, first aid kit, fire starters, and a Jetboil.
You could add even more if you went in on this gift with someone else and then you can get a pair of dynamite sleeping bags too.
15. Cleaning Gift Basket
This is not the most glamorous gift but girl, it will get used! Build them a cleaning supply gift basket.
A few basics to include are disinfecting wipes, glass cleaner, toilet cleaner, sponges, Magic Erasers, lint rollers, and rubber gloves.
