1. Backpack
If your son has been rocking a character backpack in the past, this may be the year that he wants to switch it up and go for a solid color.
They are a bit more expensive but they are built to last!
2. Water Bottle
Hydration is more important than ever for 5th grade boys because they start sweating more.

3. Lunch Bag
It might be time to upgrade his lunch bag as well. This is the one that you have to check out.
It is small enough to fit into his backpack but big enough to fit all the food he will need.

My 10 year old is obsessed with knowing what time it is and how many steps he has taken throughout the day with this watch.

But of Nerf guns, I do not like all the Nerf darts that I find everywhere! Thankfully, I banned the Nerf guns to just the basement so at least they are partially contained.
